How To Increase The Value Of Your Links
One of our most popular products is HOTH Guest Post, for good reason. The links are all in-content contextual links on real sites. Basically, high quality city.
99% of the time guest post links are in the form of a blog post.
The post usually starts off on the homepage, but then will roll to a subsequent / archive page as more posts are added.
While the link is still good, the domain authority is good, the probability that the page authority (PA / the power of that page specifically) is really killer is unlikely.
So how do you fix this?
There are a few ways, but one of the easiest ways is to just build backlinks directly to that post (building backlinks to your backlinks).
That will increase the page authority drastically over time, and will boost the power of the link you have on that page!
Here’s An Example Of Link “Boosting”
This is a website we posted on for a guest post.
The domain authority is 47+, but most of the posts drop off the homepage after a while and they end up with a page authority of 5-20.
Here’s a normal post on the site that did NOT receive any boosting.
You can see that this post over time ended up being a PA16. Not bad, but we can do better.
And here’s another post on the SAME STIE that got a Boost (we built backlinks to it):
