The Google Core Update started on June 3 and took 5 days to fully roll out and the Google diversity update started on June 4 and took 3 days to fully roll out.

We’ve all seen more and more videos starting to appear in the search engine results. In mid-June there were reports that Google was testing YouTube timestamps in the SERPs.

This means searchers could be taken to key moments within the video that answers their query without having to sit through irrelevant content. If Google decides to roll this out completely, it will be vital you have timestamps and descriptions on your videos.
